Friday Night Grill (6 pm): Make it easy on yourself and have dinner at the pool tonight! The Piranhas swim team will be selling hot dogs, hamburgers and veggie burgers. Support the team and avoid the Friday night dinner hassle! Hot dogs: $2; Hamburger / veggie burger: $3; Burger with cheese: $4; Combo: Add drink and chips for $1 more.

Saturday – Home Swim Meet vs. Woodley (9 am to noon): The pool will be closed for swimming until noon for a swim meet against Woodley. This includes the baby pool and playground. That said, all are welcome to come and watch the excitement of a swim meet and enjoy our Piranha Grill!

Sunday – Saffron Gourmet Food Truck (noon to 3 pm): Chef Sebastian Oveysi will be back out with some amazing food this Sunday! More info: https://www.yelp.com/biz/saffron-gourmet-truck-arlington

Monday – Home Swim Meet with SHBR (4 pm): The pool (including baby pool and playground) will close at 4 pm to set up for a “B-meet” with SHBR (starts at 6 pm). This will include a Kickboard/Lollipop Race for all young Parklawn swimmers. Our Piranhas will be there and can be in the lane with your child during the kickboard race—participants will each receive a lollipop. Participants should arrive by 5:30 p.m. and meet near the diving board. The Piranha Grill will also be running!

Pool Fourth of July Events (Donations Needed): The pool holds Fourth of July events from early morning into late afternoon. Due to the expected membership attendance, the BOD does not allow other parties at the pool that day and prefers that you limit any guests. As always, we are looking for coin donations for the coin dive, judges for some events (belly flop contest, cannonball contest), donations of any decorations, etc. Please respond to this email or drop off coins at the front desk.
